On my first day working at the gas station, I watched my co-worker measure the level of gasoline in the underground tanks by lowering a long measuring stick down into them. "So, what would happen if I dropped a lit match into that hole?" I joked. He replied, "It would go out." "Really? Because of a lack of oxygen in there? Or because some safety device would extinguish it before the fumes ignited?" "Neither," said my co-worker. "The force of the explosion would blow out the match!"
Is it ever acceptable to spit on an Italian woman's face? Only if her mustache is on fire!
